Aim of the Meeting
Is to develop an innovative idea for bio-inspired robots capable of performing tasks in response to specific environmental stimuli, thanks to their smart materials. These robots will have the ability to sense environmental elements they detect, morph their shape according to the situation and adapt to the uniqueness of each environment.
Organizer
The Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture (IMBBC) of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) is a partner of the Mapworms project. The annual meeting of 2024 was held in Crete under the corporation of Mapworms project and the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR).

Chair of the meeting was Ms. Kleoniki Keklikoglou, a PhD candidate in the Department of Biology at the University of Crete and a marine biologist in the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture of the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR).
